Set Sail! Arena

Set Sail! Arena is an Online Multiplayer Arena PVP game, where up to 8 players face each other either in two teams (Pirates and British) or in Free For All modes (in development). Other than fighting, players have to complete objectives in different modes to win, e.g., Capture The Flag.

My responsibilities on this project include

Overseeing the process of game creation to ensure that implemented content is consistent with the design intent and existing aspects of the game. Providing the team with technical support on a wide range of subjects, including coding, level design, UI/UX, sound design and VFX.

Marketing the game and studio.

Brand co-creation.

Designing, programming and polishing the majority of the game, including - foundations, core mechanics and systems such as: Online Multiplier, Lobby, Interactions System, the majority of Power Weapons and Consumables, the majority of the current game modes, points and death/respawn system.
I have helped with combat development (especially with online networking and polishing).

Managing team and workflow to ensure meeting deadlines. Creating safe space for teammates to ensure that the work goes smoothly in a non-toxic environment.

Onboarding new employees, managing different development aspects and teams.

Running company alongside the project development.
Taking part in industry events, networking, pitching and business development.
